The pre-charged fittings use a hand-tightened mechanical seal that a homeowner completes in 15 minutes per connection. Typical install time from unboxing to first cool air is 4–8 hours for a single-head system.

Operating sound level ranges from 27.5 dB(A) on low to 55.5 dB(A) on high — the low end is whisper-quiet, below a normal conversation (60 dB) and comparable to a library reading room. The indoor blower offers 5 fan speeds plus auto mode, letting you trade airflow for quiet operation in bedrooms while running louder in living areas. Quiet mode caps fan speed and compressor rpm for an extra 2–3 dB drop in sound output.
